Aunty Janet lived in Clare close to the Methodist (now Uniting) Church. I think our mother may have boarded with her when she was attending Clare High School. Aunty Janet married William McPheat and they had 7 children.  Would there have been room???

 Aunty Mary also lived in Clare. She married a brother of William, David McPheat and they had one child.

Aunty Mary was a regular visitor to The Sheoaks according to Aunty Win’s memoirs.  Maybe some of the girls boarded with her when they went to Clare High. Does anobody know?

The Morton siblings were originally Methodist but changed denomination at the turn of the century.

According to our mother, the Mortons were influenced by a visiting evangelist from the Seventh Day Adventist Church and many became brethren of this church.
